Affiliate Disclosure

1. What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link allows a third-party provider or affiliate network to recognize that you reached its website through Hello Passaic. If you complete an eligible action, such as making a purchase, booking a service, or signing up for an offer, we may receive compensation.

Compensation arrangements vary. They may involve a fixed referral fee, a percentage of a purchase, or another agreed payment.

2. Where affiliate links may appear

Affiliate links may appear in articles, local guides, resource pages, recommendations, newsletters, or social media content published by Hello Passaic.

Not every external link is an affiliate link. A business appearing in our directory does not, by itself, mean we receive a commission when someone contacts or purchases from that business.

3. How we identify affiliate relationships

When content includes an affiliate relationship, we will provide a clear disclosure with the relevant recommendation or links so you can consider that relationship before taking action.

Disclosures may use wording such as: “We may earn a commission if you purchase through links on this page.”

This page provides additional background. It does not replace disclosures accompanying individual affiliate recommendations.

4. What this means for your purchase

An affiliate commission is generally paid by the provider or affiliate network. Prices, discounts, fees, and available offers are determined by the seller and may vary by link, promotion, or time.

Review the final price and terms on the provider’s website before purchasing. Do not assume that an affiliate link offers the lowest available price.

You are free to compare alternatives or visit a provider directly.

5. Recommendations and compensation

Affiliate compensation creates a financial relationship between Hello Passaic and the participating provider or network. That relationship may affect which offers we choose to feature and their placement.

We aim to provide useful, accurate descriptions and distinguish factual information from opinion. We will not describe a product or service as personally tested unless we have actually tested it.

A recommendation is not a guarantee that a product, service, or offer will meet your particular needs. Consider the provider’s qualifications, current terms, and suitability before deciding.

6. Other paid relationships

Hello Passaic may also receive payment for featured listings, sponsored content, promotional videos, social media posts, and other advertising services. These arrangements are different from affiliate commissions and will be identified where relevant.

A paid placement does not mean we have independently verified every claim made by an advertiser. Advertisers remain responsible for the accuracy of their offers and business information.

7. Third-party transactions

Unless we expressly state otherwise, purchases and bookings made through affiliate links take place with the third-party provider, not Hello Passaic.

The provider’s terms apply to its products, services, payments, delivery, cancellations, returns, and refunds. Contact that provider for assistance with your order.

Information about an offer may change after we publish it. Confirm current pricing, availability, and important conditions directly with the provider.

8. Tracking and privacy

Affiliate providers and networks may use cookies, link identifiers, or similar technologies to attribute referrals and qualifying transactions.

For information about Hello Passaic’s handling of personal information, review our Privacy Policy. Third-party websites and affiliate networks have their own privacy policies and controls.

9. Updates to this disclosure

We may update this disclosure as our content, services, or commercial relationships change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
