How to leave a review

Find the business

Use Hello Passaic’s business directory to find the business you visited or hired. Check the name and address to confirm you have the correct location.

Open its listing

Open the business profile and look for the reviews section. If reviews are enabled, use the review option shown there. Sign in or create an account if prompted.

Share your experience

Select a rating if available, describe your experience, and submit your review. Keep your comments specific, relevant, and based on your own experience.

What makes a helpful review?

A useful review gives other visitors enough detail to understand what happened and what mattered to you. You might include:

What you purchased or requested: describe the product, service, or type of visit.
What went well: mention helpful service, clear communication, quality, or other details you appreciated.
What could improve: explain concerns clearly and respectfully.
When you visited: an approximate month or season can give your experience useful context.

Both positive and critical reviews are welcome when they follow our guidelines.

Keep reviews honest and respectful

Write about your own genuine experience. Do not post on behalf of someone else.
Do not submit fake reviews or reviews intended to manipulate a business’s rating.
Business owners and employees should not review their own business or pose as customers.
Clearly disclose any relevant personal, business, or financial connection, including a discount or free product received in connection with a review.
Do not include threats, harassment, discriminatory language, spam, or promotional links.
Do not publish private contact details, payment information, identification documents, or other sensitive personal information.
Distinguish your opinions from factual claims, and do not knowingly publish false information.

Reviews may be checked before or after publication. Content that violates our Listing Guidelines or Terms of Use may be restricted or removed.

Purchasing advertising or a featured listing does not give a business the right to remove legitimate criticism. A disagreement with a review does not, by itself, make it a violation.
